New Working Paper: “When a Community Has to Relocate Because the Environmental Risk Is Simply Too Great”

Professor Elizabeth Ferris recently co-authored an expert commentary for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) titled “When a Community Has to Relocate Because the Environmental Risk Is Simply Too Great.”

The commentary was written with Paula Gaviria and Atle Solberg as part of the International Protection Expert Group and published in November 2025.
