Lauren Henasey
Research Assistant
Lauren Henasey is a Research Assistant working with Professor Katharine Donato and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research on the socioeconomic impacts of COVID-19 on indigenous, migrant, and racialized groups throughout Canada, the US, and Mexico. She has previously worked for SOUL Sisters Leadership Collective, conducting research on restorative justice practices, and the Women's Foreign Policy Group, promoting women's voices in international affairs. Her interests include women and gender in international affairs, conflict and peace negotiations, and migration. Ms. Henasey has a bachelor's degree in International Politics from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, where she also completed all four years as a Division I varsity swimmer. She is proficient in Arabic and conversational in French.
